POP MART fashion designers introduce one by one - the stories and concepts behind them

Blind box toys have become popular all over the world in recent years. Behind every small toy there is a touching story and a creative designer. Let’s take a look at these designers and their masterpieces.

Kenny Wong Wang Xinming and Molly

In 2006, Kenny Wong, a designer from Hong Kong, China, created the image of "Molly the Noodle Shop". The inspiration came from a little girl he met at an event. This little girl has lake green eyes and slightly curly short blond hair. She is focused and confident when drawing. When Kenny asked her her name, she replied: "My name is Molly". This moment became the birth opportunity of the image of Molly. The first generation of Molly holds a paintbrush and drawing board, perfectly reproducing the appearance of this little girl.

Molly and Crybaby

Molly, a designer from Thailand, has loved drawing since she was a child and is good at capturing the subtle emotions around her. In 2017, she created her first Crybaby image, inspired by her pet Somchun. Through Crybaby, Molly hopes to encourage everyone to face their true emotions, release their emotions and continue to move forward bravely instead of being immersed in sadness.

Skull Panda and SkullPanda

Chinese designer Skull Panda has been engaged in CG scene concept design since 2009. He once participated in the original painting design of "Sky" and is regarded as a great god by game enthusiasts. In 2018, he began to create the SkullPanda series, and in 2020, he collaborated with Bubble Mart to launch the "Dense Forest Castle Series", which became very popular as soon as it was released.

Ayan and Dimoo

Chinese designer Ayan majored in fashion design in college, but turned to game original painting after graduation. He loves animals and often incorporates pet elements into his designs. Ayan's heart is as full of strength and warmth as the little boy Dimoo, bravely facing unknown adventures.

Long Jiasheng and LABUBU

Lung Ka-sheng was born in Hong Kong in 1972 and later immigrated to the Netherlands. In 2015, he created the picture book "Mysterious Buka" and other works inspired by Nordic mythology, and constructed the image of The Monsters series. These works are mainly black and white lines and wild brushstrokes, making LABUBU quickly become popular.

Lang and Hirono

Chinese designer Lang came up with the idea of designing toys while in college. In 2010, his alumnus Wang Ning (CEO of Bubble Mart) invited him to join the newly established Bubble Mart as the artistic director and become one of the founders. In 2020, Lang's child was born. He wanted his child to be free and unrestrained, so he named him "Xiaoye". In 2021, the image of Hirono Ono was born.

Through their creativity and emotion, these designers give blind box fashion a unique soul and story. Every little toy is the result of their hard work. #包Mart#Blind box trendy play#Molly #LABUBU #SkullPanda #小野#Crybaby #Dimoo
